You can't count down to a fixed finish line
Because the exam length varies by candidate, don't waste mental energy trying to gauge how you're doing by 'how many questions are left.' Focus entirely on each question in front of you.
Don't rush, but don't overthink either
Give each question genuine attention, but once you've made a reasoned choice, commit and move forward. Since you generally can't go back and change adaptive-test answers, dwelling on a question after answering it wastes time and adds stress for no benefit.
Practice under realistic conditions
The best way to build good pacing instincts is practicing with timed, scenario-based question sets before exam day so the rhythm of reading, deciding, and moving on feels natural.
